Jaylen Bacon is a professional runner who competes in sprint races. He was born on August 5, 1996. He is known for his speed in events like the 100-meter and 200-meter dashes.
Becoming a World Champion Medalist
In 2017, Jaylen got to join the United States team for the World Championships in London, England. He earned his spot after finishing 4th in the 100-meter race at the USA Championships.
At the World Championships, he was part of the 4x100-meter relay team. In a relay race, four runners each run 100 meters and pass a baton to the next person. Jaylen ran the third part of the race. His team finished second, winning a silver medal for the United States!
