Jeffrey Tyrone Webster (born February 19, 1971) is an American former professional basketball player. He was known for his skills as a forward. Webster played for the University of Oklahoma in college before joining the NBA.

Early Life and College Basketball
Jeffrey Webster was born on February 19, 1971. He grew up loving basketball. Webster played high school basketball at Carl Albert High School in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He was so good that he was named a Second-team Parade All-American in 1989.
Playing for the Oklahoma Sooners
After high school, Webster went to the University of Oklahoma. He played college basketball for the Oklahoma Sooners from 1989 to 1994. During his time there, he became a top player. He scored a total of 2,258 points, which is a lot! He also grabbed 781 rebounds. In 1994, he was recognized as a First-team All-Big Eight player.
Professional Basketball Career
After a great college career, Jeff Webster hoped to play in the NBA.
NBA Draft and Washington Bullets
In 1994, Webster was picked in the 1994 NBA draft. The Miami Heat chose him as the 40th overall pick in the second round. However, he didn't play for the Heat. Instead, he was traded to the Washington Bullets. This trade happened before he even played a game for Miami.
Webster played 11 games for the Washington Bullets during the 1995–96 season. This was his only time playing in the NBA.
Playing in Other Leagues
Even though his NBA career was short, Webster continued to play professional basketball. He joined teams in the Continental Basketball Association (CBA). The CBA was a league where many players tried to make it to the NBA.

In 1993, Webster was part of the U.S. national basketball team. They competed in the Summer Universiade, which is a big sports event for college athletes from around the world. The event was held in Buffalo, New York. Webster and his team won the gold medal in basketball, bringing pride to their country.
Family Life
Jeff Webster has a son named Justin. Justin has followed in his father's footsteps. He currently plays basketball for the UNLV Runnin' Rebels team.
