Jeff Wilbusch (born Iftach Wilbuschewitz, November 14, 1987) is a talented actor from Israel and Germany. He is known for his roles in popular TV shows like Unorthodox, Bad Banks, and The Little Drummer Girl.
Early Life and Learning
Jeff Wilbusch was born in Haifa, Israel, on November 14, 1987. He grew up in a special Jewish community called Satmar Hasidic in Mea Shearim, Jerusalem. His first language was Yiddish, and he is the oldest of 14 brothers and sisters!
He first studied economics and earned a master's degree in international economics from the University of Amsterdam in 2011. After that, he moved to Munich and studied acting at the Otto Falckenberg School of the Performing Arts until 2015.
Acting Career
Jeff Wilbusch has played many interesting characters in TV shows and movies. In 2018, he played Anton Mesterbein in the TV series The Little Drummer Girl. He also appeared as Noah Weisz in the German-Luxembourgish show Bad Banks.
A big role for him was Moishe Lefkovitch in the Netflix miniseries Unorthodox in 2020. In 2021, he played Uri Savir in the HBO movie Oslo. He also appeared as Gregor Grause in Dawn Breaks Behind the Eyes. More recently, he was in the Netflix miniseries Keep Breathing and the Peacock series The Calling in 2022.
