College Football Career

Cornelius received a sports scholarship to attend the University of Florida. This university is located in Gainesville, Florida. He played as a wide receiver and was great on special teams for the Florida Gators football team. He played from 2002 to 2006. His coaches were Ron Zook and Urban Meyer.

Becoming a Champion

In his final year, 2006, Cornelius became a starting wide receiver. He was also a team captain. His team, the Gators, won the BCS National Championship that year. This was a huge achievement for him and his team.

Professional Football Career

After college, Cornelius signed a contract with the Arizona Cardinals. This happened on December 31, 2007. He was an undrafted free agent, meaning he wasn't chosen in the main NFL draft.
