Jemez Falls is a beautiful waterfall found in the Jemez Mountains of New Mexico. It is part of the Santa Fe National Forest. The falls are on the East Fork of the Jemez River. This area is mostly covered by tall Ponderosa Pine trees.
Jemez Falls is the tallest waterfall in the Jemez Mountains. It drops about 70 feet (21 meters) down. You can also find some smaller waterfalls on the river just above the main falls.
Visiting Jemez Falls
You can easily reach Jemez Falls by following a walking path. This path starts at the Jemez Falls campground and day use area. At the end of the trail, there is a special spot where you can get a great view of the falls. It's a perfect place to enjoy nature!
