Jennifer Hawkins-Wall (born 22 December 1983) is an Australian TV host, model, and beauty queen. She became famous after winning the Miss Universe 2004 competition. Before that, she was crowned Miss Universe Australia 2004. Jennifer has also hosted Australia's Next Top Model and worked as a brand ambassador for many companies.

Early Life and Beginnings
Jennifer Hawkins was born in Holmesville, New South Wales, Australia. She grew up with her parents, Gail and Robert, and three siblings. Jennifer went to West Wallsend High School.
Before becoming a famous model, she was a cheerleader. She cheered for the Newcastle Knights rugby league team and the Hunter Pirates basketball team. She also worked as a choreographer for a dance team. This team toured Australia, performing hip hop and ballet.
Journey to Miss Universe
Jennifer Hawkins decided to compete in the Miss Universe pageant. She got advice from Ashlea Talbot, who was Miss Universe Australia in 2003. Jennifer even learned some basic Spanish before traveling to Ecuador for the competition.
The Miss Universe pageant took place in Quito, Ecuador, on 1 June 2004. Jennifer was one of the favorites to win. She became the first Australian to reach the semi-finals since 1993. She then moved into the top ten after showing off her evening gown. This gown was a unique copper color and cost a lot of money.
After the swimsuit competition, Jennifer made it to the top five. She then won the Miss Universe title! She was the second Australian to win this title. The first was Kerry Anne Wells in 1972. Jennifer was crowned by Amelia Vega from the Dominican Republic. She received a beautiful pearl crown worth $250,000 and many other prizes.
Life as Miss Universe
As Miss Universe, Jennifer Hawkins traveled a lot. She visited countries like Korea, Brazil, Germany, Greece, and her home country, Australia. She also lived in New York City in an apartment provided by the Miss Universe Organization. During her time as Miss Universe, she said she wanted to continue modeling and become a TV presenter.
One time, shortly after winning, Jennifer had a small accident during a fashion show. She tripped on her dress, which briefly fell down. She quickly fixed it and laughed it off. This moment was widely talked about and even called "The most embarrassing moment ever shown on Australian television" by an Australian TV network.
Jennifer later returned to the Miss Universe stage as a judge for the Miss Universe 2008 finals in Vietnam.
Television Career
After her reign as Miss Universe, Jennifer Hawkins started her television career. She signed a contract with the Seven Network. Her first job was as a guest presenter on The Great Outdoors. On this show, she took viewers on tours around the world. She later became a regular presenter.
Jennifer also hosted and judged Make Me a Supermodel in Australia. In 2010, she moved to the Nine Network. She became the host of the popular TV show Australia's Next Top Model.
Other Projects
Jennifer Hawkins also appeared on Dancing with the Stars. She was the fifth celebrity to be eliminated from the show. She also played a game on Deal or No Deal and won $2,000.
She was also featured in a music video for the song "Elevator Love" by Australian artist Guy Sebastian.

On 4 June 2013, Jennifer Hawkins married her longtime boyfriend, Jake Wall. They had a small wedding ceremony in Bali, Indonesia. They had been together for eight years before getting married.
In May 2019, Jennifer announced that she and Jake were expecting their first child. She shared that she had faced some challenges with fertility. Their daughter was born on 22 October 2019. Jennifer and her family live in Sydney. On 20 October 2021, she announced the birth of their second child, a son.
