Jerome Whitehead (born September 30, 1956 – died December 20, 2012) was an American professional basketball player. He was known for playing as a center or power forward. Jerome played for 11 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

He was chosen by the San Diego Clippers in the 1978 NBA draft. Standing 6 feet 10 inches tall, he played for several teams. These included the Clippers, Utah Jazz, Dallas Mavericks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Golden State Warriors, and San Antonio Spurs.
