Jerrick Vincent Frankera Ahanmisi was born on October 16, 1997. He is a professional basketball player who plays for the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots. This team is part of the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA). Jerrick was born in America and has both Filipino and Nigerian family roots.
He is known for being a great shooter. Jerrick followed his older brother, Maverick Ahanmisi, into the professional basketball league in 2021. He has been playing for the Magnolia Hotshots ever since.

Jerrick's Basketball Journey
Jerrick Ahanmisi played basketball for four years in high school. He attended Village Christian School in Sun Valley, Los Angeles, California.
College Basketball Career
After high school, Jerrick played college basketball for the Adamson Soaring Falcons. This team is part of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP). In 2018, during his third season, he was named to the UAAP Mythical Team. This means he was recognized as one of the best players in the league that year.
Joining the Pros
Jerrick joined the professional league, the PBA, in 2021. He was drafted by the Magnolia Hotshots Pambansang Manok, which is now known as the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots.
In May 2023, Jerrick signed a new contract with Magnolia. This contract keeps him with the team for another two years.
A Sharpshooter's Skills
Jerrick Ahanmisi has always been known for his excellent shooting skills. He was called a "sharpshooter" even when he played for Adamson.
