High School and College Years
Jerrick Ahanmisi played basketball for four years in high school. He attended Village Christian School in California. After high school, he went on to play college basketball. He joined the Adamson Soaring Falcons team. This team is part of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP).
In 2018, Jerrick had a great year in college. He was chosen for the UAAP Mythical Team. This honor means he was one of the best players in the league that season.
Starting a Professional Career
In 2021, Jerrick followed in his older brother Maverick Ahanmisi's footsteps. He joined the professional basketball league. He started playing for the Magnolia Hotshots in the PBA. In May 2023, Jerrick signed a new contract. This agreement keeps him with the Magnolia team for two more years.
Jerrick is known as a very good shooter. He was famous for his shooting skills even when he played for Adamson. In the PBA, he made history. He was the first player to hit back-to-back four-pointers. He also hit three four-pointers in a single PBA game. This shows how good he is at scoring from long range.
