Big Air Explained
Big air is all about huge jumps. Snowboarders launch themselves off a massive ramp. While in the air, they perform incredible flips and spins. The goal is to do the most impressive trick possible. Judges score them on the height of their jump, the difficulty of the trick, and how well they land.
