Exploring Art Styles
Since the 1980s, Moser has been developing her own style of art. She builds on older art ideas that use bold, free brushstrokes. She gets ideas from dancers and filmmakers like Maya Deren and Stan Brakhage. She also looks at the work of women artists such as Lynda Benglis and Joan Mitchell. Her paintings, drawings, and collages explore how art marks, body movements, and time are connected.
Working with Prints
Moser also works a lot with printmakers. She studies how hand-made marks and colors look when they are printed by machines. She has created many art prints with different studios. Some of these include Jungle Press and Manneken Press.
