Career Highlights
Joaquim Dos Santos started his career as a storyboard artist. A storyboard artist draws pictures that show how a scene will look, almost like a comic book version of the show or movie. He worked on the animated series Justice League.
Directing Animated Shows
He became a director for Justice League Unlimited, where he directed many episodes, including the very last one called "Destroyer." After that, he joined the team for Avatar: The Last Airbender. He started as a storyboard artist and then directed episodes in the third season, including the big four-part finale.
Joaquim also worked on Avatar's sequel series, The Legend of Korra. He co-directed all of the first season and was a co-executive producer for the whole series. This means he helped make big decisions about the show.
