Jodelle Micah Ferland (born October 9, 1994) is a Canadian actress. She started acting when she was very young, at just four years old. Her first big role was in the TV movie Mermaid in 2000. For this role, she won a Young Artist Award. She was also nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award, becoming the youngest person ever nominated for that award!
Jodelle has acted in many different types of movies and TV shows. Some of her well-known roles include the horror films Tideland (2005) and Silent Hill (2006). She also appeared in the popular romantic fantasy movie The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010). Later, she starred in the TV series Dark Matter from 2015 to 2017.

Early life and beginnings
Jodelle Ferland was born in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Canada. Her parents are Valerie and Marc Ferland.
She began her acting journey very early, appearing in commercials when she was only two years old. By age four, she had her first acting role in the TV movie Mermaid.

Early roles in the 2000s
After her debut in Mermaid, Jodelle appeared in many TV shows. She had guest roles in popular series like Stargate Atlantis, Dark Angel, Stargate SG-1, Smallville, and Supernatural.
In 2005, she starred in the movie Tideland. Her performance in this film earned her a nomination for a Genie Award for Best Actress. The next year, she was in Silent Hill, which was based on a famous video game. She also had a role in the comedy film Good Luck Chuck. In 2009, she appeared in the horror movie Case 39 alongside actress Renée Zellweger.
Becoming a teen star in the 2010s
In 2010, Jodelle played Bree Tanner in Eclipse. This was the third movie in the famous Twilight series. She was very excited to be part of such a big film!
From 2010 to 2011, she lent her voice to the video game BioShock 2. She also starred in the TV movie Girl Fight.
In 2012, Jodelle appeared in several movies. These included the horror films The Tall Man and The Cabin in the Woods. She also had her first main role in a comedy movie, Home Alone: The Holiday Heist. Jodelle also voiced the character Aggie in the animated film ParaNorman. This movie was even nominated for an Academy Award!
Between 2013 and 2014, she acted in films like Midnight Stallion and A Warden's Ransom. In 2015, she starred in the horror movie The Unspoken.
From 2015 to 2017, Jodelle had a main role as the character Five in the SyFy TV series Dark Matter. This show was based on a comic book series. For her work on Dark Matter, she was nominated for a Saturn Award in 2016. In 2017, she appeared in the comedy Bigger Fatter Liar and the horror film Neverknock.
In 2018, Jodelle was in an episode of Frankie Drake Mysteries. She also starred as Olive in the web series Darken: Before the Dark. This series was a prequel to the movie Darken. In 2019, she was cast in the film Office Games, which came out in 2022.
