Joe Greene is an American gospel and soul singer and songwriter. He has a very high singing voice, known as a male soprano. In the late 1960s and 1970s, he was a popular backing vocalist for many rock artists. He helped make their songs sound even better. Joe Greene also wrote many songs, often working with the famous musician Billy Preston. Together, they co-wrote the hit song "Outa-Space" in 1972, which even won a Grammy Award!
