Johannes Radebe (born 27 April 1987) is a talented South African dancer and choreographer. He is well-known for his amazing performances on the TV show Strictly Come Dancing.

Early Life and Dance Journey
Johannes Radebe grew up in Zamdela, a town in South Africa. His father worked for Coca-Cola. Johannes and his sister both went to a dance school in their local area.
When he was 13, Johannes moved away from home to live with a dance coaching couple. He attended secondary school in a place called Ennerdale, near Johannesburg. He spent a lot of time practicing and working hard to become a great dancer.
Johannes's Dance Career
Johannes started his career as a dance teacher in Johannesburg. After that, he spent seven years dancing on big cruise ships, traveling the world and performing.
He has won many awards for his dancing. He won the Professional South African Latin championships twice. He was also the Amateur Latin South African champion three times. This shows how skilled he is in Latin dance styles.
Dancing on TV Shows
Johannes became a professional dancer on the South African version of Strictly Come Dancing in 2014. He was on the show for two seasons and reached the final both times! He also appeared on Dancing with the Stars in South Africa in 2018.
Later, he joined a dance show called Burn the Floor, which toured around. In 2018, the BBC announced that Johannes would join the professional dancers on the British Strictly Come Dancing. In his first series, he didn't have a celebrity partner.
In 2021, Johannes was a contestant on Celebrity MasterChef, where he showed off his cooking skills. In December 2022, he won the Celebrity Christmas Special of BBC's The Great British Sewing Bee, proving he's good at more than just dancing!
In 2023, Johannes released his memoir, a book about his life, called Jojo - Finally Home. It quickly became a best-seller. There are even plans to turn his book into a film!
In 2024, he appeared in an episode of Doctor Who called "The Devil's Chord". He performed a song-and-dance number with Ncuti Gatwa, who plays the Fifteenth Doctor.

From January to July 2025, Johannes is starring in the UK tour of a musical. This is his first time performing in a musical theatre show. He is also set to make his West End debut in London in March 2026, performing in the same musical.
