John Argentine and the Princes in the Tower
John Argentine is known for being one of the last people to see the young Princes in the Tower. These were two young princes, Edward V and his brother, who were kept in the Tower of London. John Argentine was their attendant, meaning he looked after them. He observed that the princes were very religious. They spent time praying and preparing themselves, as if they felt something important was about to happen. His observations were later used by people who believed the princes had disappeared under mysterious circumstances.
