John Lawrence Givens (born August 29, 1992), known as John Givez, is an American musician. He creates music that mixes hip hop, R&B, soul, and funk. He is also known by the name Juan Dando. John Givez is cousins with another rapper named JGivens.

Starting His Career
John Givez began his music career in 2013. His first studio album, Four Seasons, came out on November 12, 2013. It was released with Kings Dream Entertainment. This album was a big step for him. It reached No. 46 on the Gospel Albums chart in Billboard magazine.
Successful Albums and Collaborations
His next studio album, Soul Rebel, was released on August 28, 2015. This album was also with Kings Dream Entertainment. Soul Rebel was very popular. It appeared on three different Billboard charts. It reached No. 7 on the Christian Albums chart. It also hit No. 19 on the Independent Albums chart. On the Rap Albums chart, it reached No. 10.
John Givez was part of a music group called Cousin Neighbor with his cousin JGivens. He was also in a group called Dream Junkies. This group included artists Beleaf and Ruslan. He has worked with other musicians too. In 2016, he was featured on Lecrae's song "Misconceptions 3" from the album Church Clothes 3. He also worked with the Christian rap group Hostyle Gospel. They released a song called "Skittles & Iced Tea" in April 2016. This song was about the Trayvon Martin/George Zimmerman legal case.
