John Morris Henson (born July 11, 1967) is an American comedian, actor, and TV host. He is famous for co-hosting the exciting game show Wipeout on ABC. He also hosted the popular show Talk Soup and later Halloween Baking Championship.

About John Henson

John Henson was born in Stamford, Connecticut. His parents are Joe and Barbara Henson. He has four older brothers. John studied acting at places like Boston University and Circle in the Square in New York City. He performed in various theater plays, including Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead.

John was born with a special feature: a white streak of hair on the right side of his head. Because of this, he was sometimes called "Skunk Boy" when he hosted Talk Soup.

Hosting Talk Soup

He became the longest-running host of Talk Soup on the E! Entertainment Network. He hosted over 1,000 episodes during his four and a half years with the network. While hosting Talk Soup, he even appeared as a guest on Space Ghost Coast to Coast.

Other Hosting Roles

In 2004, John hosted The John Henson Project, a comedy-reality show on Spike TV. He also hosted several TV specials, like ABC's Best Commercials You've Never Seen. From 2005 to 2007, he co-hosted Watch This! on the TV Guide Channel.

Wipeout and Beyond

From 2008 to 2014, John Henson was the co-host of the fun obstacle course game show, Wipeout, on ABC. He was known for his catchphrase at the end of each show, "Good night, and Big Balls," which referred to a famous obstacle on the show.

Later, from 2017 to 2019, John hosted Halloween Baking Championship on the Food Network. He also had a small role as a newscaster on the TV show My Name Is Earl. You might have also seen him in the Blink-182 music video for their song "What's My Age Again?"
