Charles John Klyberg (born 29 July 1931 – died 16 January 2020) was a British priest. He was first an Anglican bishop and later became a Roman Catholic priest. From 1985 to 1996, he served as the Bishop of Fulham in the Church of England.

Early Life and Learning
John Klyberg was born on 29 July 1931. He went to Eastbourne College, which is a private school in Eastbourne, England. He then studied to become a priest at Lincoln Theological College.
Klyberg also served in the British Army for a short time. This was part of a program called National Service. He was a lieutenant in the Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment). He served from 1953 to 1955 and then in the reserves until 1958.
His Work as a Priest
Serving in the Church of England
John Klyberg began his work as a priest in the Church of England. His first role was as a curate at St John's in East Dulwich. A curate is like an assistant priest. After that, he became the rector of Fort Jameson in Zambia. A rector is the main priest of a parish.
Later, he was the vicar of Christ Church and St Stephen in Battersea. A vicar is also a type of priest in charge of a church. He then became the Dean of Lusaka. A dean is a senior priest who leads a group of churches. He was also an Archdeacon of Charing Cross. An archdeacon helps the bishop manage a part of the diocese.
Joining the Roman Catholic Church
In 1996, after he retired from his roles in the Anglican Church, Klyberg joined the Roman Catholic Church. He became a Catholic priest in December 1996. Later, Pope John Paul II gave him the special title of Prelate of Honour. This title is given to priests who have served the Church well.
Later Life
John Klyberg passed away on 16 January 2020, at the age of 88. His funeral was held on 29 January.
