John Kovalic (born 24 November 1962) is a super talented American cartoonist, illustrator, and writer. He is famous for creating funny comics and drawing pictures for many popular board and card games. You might know his work from the Munchkin card game or the Dork Tower comics!

John Kovalic's Creative Journey
John Kovalic was born in Manchester, England, in 1962. He is most famous for his comic book, comic strip, and webcomic called Dork Tower. This comic is all about the funny side of fantasy role-playing games. Imagine a game where you pretend to be a wizard or a knight! John also created other humorous works like The Unspeakable Oaf.
He has drawn pictures for many board and card games. Some of these games are from companies like Steve Jackson Games. He is especially known for illustrating the Munchkin card game, which has many different versions. He also worked on Chez Geek and the third edition of Mag Blast. John was also the only artist for the "Super Deluxx" edition of Kobolds Ate My Baby!.
