John Aġnaqłuk Lincoln, born on December 17, 1981, is an American politician. He was a member of the Alaska House of Representatives from 2018 to 2021. This means he helped make laws for the state of Alaska. He first got this job when the governor chose him, and then he won an election in 2018 to keep his seat.

About John Lincoln's Early Life
John Aġnaqłuk Lincoln was born in Kotzebue, Alaska, on December 17, 1981. He is part of the Iñupiat people, who are a group of Alaska Natives.
John was a very good student. He was the top student, called the valedictorian, when he graduated from Kotzebue High School in 1999. After high school, he went to Stanford University and earned a bachelor's degree.
John Lincoln's First Jobs
Before becoming a politician, John Lincoln worked for 15 years with computer systems and technology in Northwestern Alaska. Later, he worked in business leadership. He was the Vice President of Business Development for a company called NANA Regional Corporation.
Serving in the Alaska House of Representatives
John Lincoln served in the Alaska House of Representatives. This is where elected people work together to create and vote on new laws for the state.
Most of John Lincoln's ideas and policies are considered center-left. This means his political views are usually a bit more liberal than conservative. In 2019, he decided to become an independent politician. Even so, he continued to work closely with the Democratic Party members in the House.
