Robert John Little (born July 8, 1930 – died January 18, 2017) was a Scottish footballer. He played as a defender for several teams. These included Queen's Park, Rangers, and Morton. He also played for the Scotland national team.

Playing Football
Robert John Little was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. But he grew up in Scotland, in a place called Millport, Isle of Cumbrae. He started his football journey with the Queen's Park team. He played 55 league games for them.
Time with Rangers
In 1951, Little joined Rangers, a very famous club. He played a total of 275 games for Rangers. He only scored one goal during his time there. This goal happened in March 1954, in a 1–1 draw against Hamilton Academical.
While playing at Ibrox, Rangers' home stadium, he helped his team win some big titles.
- He won two League championships. These were in the 1952–53 and 1955–56 seasons.
- He also won two Scottish Cups. These cup wins were in 1953 and 1960.
Little left Rangers at the end of the 1961–62 season. He then moved to Morton. He finished his football career playing for Morton.
Playing for Scotland
Robert John Little also played for his country. He earned one cap for the Scotland national team. This was in a game against Sweden in 1953. He also played for the Scottish League XI two times. This team was made up of the best players from the Scottish League.
Life After Football
After he stopped playing football, Robert John Little became a teacher. He taught physical education. In the late 1960s, he taught at St Columba's in Greenock. In the early 1970s, he taught at Sacred Heart Secondary in Paisley. Robert John Little passed away on January 18, 2017, when he was 86 years old.
