Playing in the NBA
John played for the Houston Rockets in the National Basketball Association (NBA). This is the top professional basketball league in North America. He played during the 1991-92 NBA season.
He appeared in 42 games for the Rockets. In these games, he scored an average of 2.8 points per game. After this season, in August 1992, the Rockets allowed John to leave. This let him go play basketball in Spain.
