Johnstown (which is Baile Eoin in Irish) is a small area in Dún Laoghaire–Rathdown, Ireland. It used to be part of the land around Johnstown House. Today, it is mostly a neighborhood with many houses. Most of these homes were built in the 1960s. More recently, new apartment buildings have been added because many people want to live here.
Johnstown is surrounded by other areas. These include Cabinteely, Sallynoggin, Ballybrack, and Killiney.

Getting Around Johnstown
You can travel around Johnstown using public transport. Several Dublin Bus routes stop here. Routes 7, 7B, 45A, and 111 stop on Rochestown Avenue and Churchview Road. Routes 84 and 145 stop close by in Cabinteely village. Route 59 stops at Mackintosh Park.
If you are driving, you can reach Cabinteely village from the N11 national road. The R118 route also goes through Johnstown.

Johnstown has a great park called Kilbogget Park. Here, you can play different sports. These include soccer, Gaelic games, and rugby. There is also a playground in the park for younger kids.
