Jonathan Jacob Walker, born on September 17, 1985, is an American musician. He is a singer, songwriter, and also produces music. Jon was once the bassist for the band Panic! at the Disco. He also helped start another band called The Young Veins with Ryan Ross. In The Young Veins, Jon played guitar and sang. That band is currently taking a long break. Since then, Jon has released his own music. Today, he mostly writes songs and produces music for others.

Jon Walker's Music Journey
Jon Walker went to Bartlett High School in Illinois. He first became known in the music scene around Chicago in 2003. He was only 17 years old then. Jon joined a band called 504 Plan as their new bass player.
Later, Jon toured with the band The Academy Is.... He worked as a guitar technician and also filmed videos for them.
Joining Panic! at the Disco
In May 2006, Jon joined the popular band Panic! at the Disco. He became their new bass player, taking the place of Brent Wilson. At 20 years old, Jon was the oldest member of the band at that time.
Jon was with Panic! at the Disco when they won a big award. They won Video of the Year at the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards. This was for their famous song "I Write Sins Not Tragedies". Jon helped write songs for the band's album, Pretty. Odd.. He also played on their live album, ...Live in Chicago.
Starting The Young Veins
In July 2009, Jon Walker and his bandmate Ryan Ross left Panic! at the Disco. They said they had different ideas about the band's music. After leaving, they started a new band together called The Young Veins.
The Young Veins went on two tours in 2010. They toured with Foxy Shazam and also with Rooney. On December 10, 2010, Jon announced on Twitter that The Young Veins would take a break. He later explained that the same creative differences they had before continued in the new band.
Solo Music and Producing
Since 2011, Jon has released a lot of his own music. He has put out three studio albums and four EPs (which are like mini-albums). You can download all of these for free from his official Bandcamp page.
In 2016, Jon released a song called "When Push Comes to Shove." He sang this song with Victoria Asher, who used to be in the band Cobra Starship. In July 2018, a short film called Intermission came out. Jon wrote all the music for this film. Today, Jon mostly focuses on writing songs and producing music for other artists.
