Jonelle Filigno (born September 24, 1990) is a Canadian soccer player. She played as an attacking midfielder or forward. Jonelle last played for Sky Blue FC in the National Women's Soccer League.
She was also a key player for the Canadian national team. With her team, she proudly won an Olympic bronze medal at the London 2012 Games.

Sky Blue FC
After finishing her college soccer career at Rutgers University, Jonelle joined Sky Blue FC. This team is part of the NWSL. She played her first game on April 27, 2014. She came in as a substitute during a game against the Boston Breakers.
Jonelle scored her first professional goal on May 21, 2014. This happened in a 3–3 tie against the Washington Spirit.
International Games
Jonelle Filigno first played for the senior Canadian national team on January 16, 2008. She was only 17 years old at the time. She represented Canada at the 2008 Olympics. She also played in the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup.
At the 2012 Olympics, Jonelle scored a very important goal. It was the winning goal against Great Britain. This goal came from a powerful shot after a corner kick by Sophie Schmidt. This win helped Canada move forward in the tournament.
After that, Jonelle and her team won an Olympic bronze medal. They achieved this by defeating France in the Third Place match. Jonelle played her last game for the national team at the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. She officially stopped playing international soccer in 2017. Overall, she scored 11 goals for the national team.

Jonelle Filigno went to Rutgers University for her college studies. While playing soccer there, she set a record. She scored the most game-winning goals in the school's history, with 17.
Jonelle's father was born in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada. Her mother is from Georgetown, Guyana. Jonelle started playing soccer when she was four years old. She grew up in north Mississauga. Besides soccer, she also enjoyed playing basketball, volleyball, and cross-country running.
