Jordan Patrick Dear Hamilton (born on March 17, 1996) is a Canadian soccer player. He plays as a forward for Shan United in the Myanmar National League.

Early Life and Youth Soccer
Jordan Hamilton started playing soccer with North Scarborough SC. Later, he joined Ajax SC. He made his first appearance for the U14 Ontario Provincial team. This was at the U14 All-Star Championships in Sherbrooke, Quebec. He scored a goal just 8 seconds into their first game. This happened against the U14 PEI team, right after kickoff! He scored 6 more goals in that same match. After these impressive starts, he joined the Toronto FC Academy.
Club Career Highlights
Starting with Toronto FC
After playing for three years with the TFC Academy, Jordan Hamilton signed with Toronto FC. This happened on January 6, 2014. He made his first professional appearance on April 12, 2014. He came in as a substitute in a game against Colorado Rapids.
Loan Spells and First Goals
On May 1, 2014, Hamilton was loaned to Wilmington Hammerheads FC. This is a club in the USL Pro league. He scored 5 goals in 11 games for Wilmington. He also scored a goal for Toronto FC in a friendly game. This was against Tottenham Hotspur.
After that, he was loaned to C.D. Trofense in Portugal. He played his first game for Trofense on August 9, 2014. Toronto FC called him back from his loan on December 12.
On March 20, 2015, Hamilton was loaned to Toronto FC II. This was for their first season in the USL. He played his first game for them on March 21. In that same game, he scored Toronto FC II's very first goal in the 8th minute!
Jordan Hamilton scored his first two goals for Toronto FC in the 2016 Canadian Championship. He scored both goals in the first game against the Montreal Impact. His first MLS goal came on June 26 against Orlando City. He finished the 2016 season with three goals in 14 league games. He also scored two goals in four Canadian Championship games.
Moving to Columbus Crew SC
On July 11, 2019, Hamilton was traded to Columbus Crew SC. He re-signed with the club for the 2020 season. The club decided not to keep him for the 2021 season.
Time with Indy Eleven
On March 1, 2021, Jordan Hamilton signed with USL Championship team Indy Eleven. On September 2, 2021, Hamilton and Indy Eleven agreed to end his contract.
Playing for Sligo Rovers
In February 2022, Hamilton signed with League of Ireland Premier Division club Sligo Rovers. He played for them during the 2022 season. In June 2022, he left the club by agreement.
Success with Forge FC
On August 5, 2022, Hamilton signed a contract with Forge FC. This team plays in the Canadian Premier League. He played his first game the very next day against the HFX Wanderers. Hamilton scored his first goal for Forge on August 12 against Cavalry FC. In October 2023, he helped Forge win their fourth league title. They won 2–1 against Cavalry FC in the play-off final.
Joining Shan United
In May 2025, Jordan Hamilton signed with Myanmar National League club Shan United. This is his current team.
International Career for Canada
Youth National Teams
Jordan Hamilton has played for Canada's youth national teams. He represented Canada at the 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup.
In November 2014, Hamilton was called up to the U-20 team. He scored a goal against England's U-20 team in a friendly game. This game ended in a 2–2 tie. Three days later, he scored another goal in a 2–1 win against Russia's U-21 team. Hamilton also played in the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. He scored three goals in that tournament. He scored two goals against Haiti and one goal against Honduras.
In May 2016, Hamilton was called to Canada's U23 national team. He played in two friendly games against Guyana and Grenada. He scored in both of these matches. In 2017, he scored against Qatar U23 at a special U23 tournament.
Senior National Team
Jordan Hamilton's first experience with the senior Canadian team was in January 2014. He was called up for a training camp with the Canadian senior team. He made his official debut for Canada on October 14, 2014. This was in a game against Colombia, where he came in as a substitute.
Personal Life
Jordan Hamilton went to Blessed Pope John Paul II Catholic Secondary School. This school is located in Scarborough, Ontario.
