His Education

His Political Journey

Becoming Prime Minister

Even though his party came in second, other parties did not want the first-place party to form a government. Because of this, the MLSTP-PSD started talking with other parties. These parties included the MDFM-PL, PCD-GR, and UDD. They decided to form a special team-up government. This kind of team-up had never happened before in São Tomé and Príncipe.
