Jorge Luis Corrales Cordero, born on May 20, 1991, is a professional football player from Cuba. He plays as a defender for USL League One club Texoma FC. He also plays for the Cuba national team.

Jorge Corrales's Football Journey
Corrales started his football career in 2009. He played for FC Pinar del Río in his hometown of Pinar del Río, Cuba. From 2011 to 2015, he was the captain of FC Pinar del Río. In 2015, he went on loan to FC Sancti Spíritus.
Early Success in Cuba
Corrales was a very important player for Pinar del Río. He was named the team's Most Valuable Player (MVP) in 2012, 2013, and 2014. During his time with the team, he played over 80 games. He helped his teammates score 20 goals and scored 6 goals himself.
Moving to the United States
In 2015, Corrales traveled to Miami, USA, to visit his family and friends. While there, he decided he wanted to play professional football in the United States. He joined an amateur team called Fortuna SC in October 2015. This team had many Cuban players, including other national team members.
After a successful tryout, he signed with Miami FC in January 2016. This was a new team at the time. Later that year, in June, he joined the Fort Lauderdale Strikers.
Playing for USL and MLS Teams
On March 2, 2017, Corrales joined the Tulsa Roughnecks FC. He then moved to Chicago Fire in Major League Soccer (MLS) on September 14, 2017. MLS is the top football league in the United States and Canada.
On August 7, 2019, Corrales was traded to Montreal Impact. This team is now known as CF Montréal. He played for them until 2020.
Recent Club History
From 2021 to 2023, Corrales returned to play for FC Tulsa. On January 17, 2024, he joined USL League One club Lexington SC. He played for Lexington during their 2024 season.
Corrales signed with Texoma FC on January 30, 2025. He is now preparing for Texoma FC's very first season in USL League One.
Playing for Cuba
Jorge Corrales has also played for his home country, Cuba, in many important tournaments.
Youth National Teams
He played for Cuba's youth teams:
- Cuba U20 in the 2011 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.
- Cuba U22 and Cuba U23 in the 2011 Pan American Games.
Senior National Team
Corrales made his first appearance for the senior Cuba in December 2011. This was in a friendly match against Costa Rica. He has played over 50 games for Cuba and scored 1 goal. He also played in 7 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches.
During the 2015 CONCACAF Gold Cup, Corrales played as a right back and center back. He played in two of Cuba's group stage matches in that tournament.
