Jorge Salinas is a well-known Mexican actor. He was born on July 27, 1968, in Mexico City. He is most famous for his main roles in many popular TV shows called telenovelas.

Acting Career
Jorge Salinas started his acting journey by joining the Centro de Educación Artística (CEA) in 1990. After finishing his studies, he got his first acting chance in the telenovela Valeria y Maximiliano.
Early TV Shows and Films
He appeared in several TV shows like El abuelo y yo (1991) and Mágica juventud (1992). He also acted in Dos mujeres, un camino (1993) and María Isabel (1997).
In 1999, Jorge Salinas was part of the main cast in the movie Sexo, pudor y lágrimas. The next year, in 2000, he appeared in the film Amores perros.
Leading Roles in Telenovelas
Jorge Salinas became very popular for his leading roles in many telenovelas. Some of these include Tres mujeres (1999), Mi Destino Eres Tú (2000), and Las Vías del Amor (2002). He also starred in Mariana de la Noche (2003) and La esposa virgen (2005).
In 2008, he was one of the main actors in the hit telenovela Fuego en la sangre. He worked alongside Adela Noriega and Eduardo Yáñez in this show. In 2011, he played the main character, Rogelio Montero Baez, in La que no podia amar.
In 2012, producer Salvador Mejía Alexandre chose Salinas for the main role in Qué bonito amor. This show was a new version of a Colombian telenovela.
In 2014, Jorge Salinas starred in the telenovela Mi corazón es tuyo (My Heart is Yours). This show was named the best telenovela of the year. He played Fernando Lascurain Borbolla, working with Silvia Navarro.
In 2017, he performed in the stage play Variaciones Enigmáticas with César Évora. Later, in 2019, he starred in "Un Poquito Tuyo" as Antonio Solano. In 2020, he played Ernesto Rioja Armida in "Te Doy La Vida".
Family Life
Jorge Salinas has children from different relationships. He has a daughter named Gabriella, born in 1995, with actress Adriana Cataño.
He married Fátima Boggio in 1996. They had twin sons, Santiago and Jorge Emilio, born in 2005. They later divorced in 2009.
On October 15, 2011, Jorge Salinas married actress Elizabeth Álvarez. They had worked together on shows like Las Vías del Amor and Fuego En La Sangre. On December 2, 2015, they welcomed twins, a daughter named Máxima and a son named León.
