José María Ceballos Vega (born September 7, 1968) is a Spanish former footballer. He played as a goalkeeper and is famous for spending his entire professional career with one team.

Club Career Highlights
José María Ceballos was born in Pámanes, a town in Cantabria, Spain. He dedicated his entire professional football career to his local club, Racing de Santander. This is very special in football, as most players move between different teams.
Starting Out in Football
Ceballos began his senior career with Rayo Cantabria. This team was the reserve squad for Racing de Santander. By the age of 20, in the 1989–90 season, he was already the main goalkeeper. During that season, his team faced relegation from the Segunda División, which is Spain's second-highest football league.
Playing in La Liga
Ceballos made his first appearance in La Liga, Spain's top football league, on September 5, 1993. His team won 1–0 at home against Rayo Vallecano. After this debut, he became the starting goalkeeper for Racing de Santander. He played in most games for the next seven seasons, always in the top division.
Later Career and Retirement
In 2001, Racing de Santander moved back down to the second division. Ceballos continued to play for two more years. He retired from playing football in 2003, when he was 35 years old.
After retiring as a player, Ceballos returned to his beloved club in 2007. He became the goalkeeper coach for their youth teams. This shows his lasting commitment to Racing de Santander.
