José Antonio Picón Sedano (born May 13, 1988) is a Spanish footballer. He plays as a right-back for the club UM Escobedo. A right-back is a defensive player who also helps with attacks on the right side of the field.

José Picón's Football Journey
Picón was born in Santander, a city in Cantabria, Spain. He started his football journey in the youth academy of his hometown team, Racing de Santander.
Early Career and First Team Debut
José Picón made his first appearance for Racing Santander's main team on April 23, 2009. This was in a top Spanish league called La Liga. He came into the game as a substitute in the last minute.
However, for most of his time at Racing Santander, he played for their reserve team, Racing B. This team played in a lower division called Segunda División B.
Playing for Different Clubs
For the 2010–11 season, Picón continued to play in the third division. He joined Pontevedra CF on loan, which means he played for them for a short time.
He also had a very brief period playing football in Greece for a club called A.O. Glyfada. After that, he returned to Spain.
José Picón continued to play in various Spanish leagues. He played for teams like FC Cartagena, UB Conquense, SD Leioa, and Barakaldo CF. He also played in amateur football leagues.
Success with UM Escobedo
A special moment in his career was helping his current club, UM Escobedo, achieve a big goal. At the end of the 2023–24 season, they were promoted to a higher league called Segunda Federación for the first time in the club's history.
