Joshua Benoliel (born January 13, 1873 – died February 3, 1932) was a famous Portuguese photojournalist. This means he was a photographer who took pictures for newspapers and magazines. A Career in Photography
Joshua Benoliel started his photography career at a sports magazine called Tiro e Sport. But he spent most of his working life at a big Portuguese newspaper, O Século. He also worked for its special magazine, Ilustração Portuguesa.
He was also a reporter for newspapers and magazines in other countries. He sent his photos to the Spanish newspaper ABC and the French magazine L'Illustration.
