Josué Duverger (born April 27, 2000) is a talented professional football player. He is a goalkeeper for the Portuguese club União Santarém. Josué was born in Canada, but he plays for the Haiti national team.

Josué Duverger was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. His family comes from Haiti. He started playing football at a young age and showed great promise.
Playing for His Country
In October 2016, Josué was invited to try out for the Canada men's national under-17 soccer team. He was only 16 years old at the time.
Soon after, he joined the Haiti national under-20 football team. He played in the 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship. He played in all three of Haiti's games in that tournament. He was also part of the Haiti national under-17 football team for the 2017 CONCACAF U-17 Championship, though he didn't play in any matches.
Senior Team Debut
Josué made his first appearance for the main Haiti national team when he was just 17. This happened in a friendly game against the United Arab Emirates on November 10, 2017. Haiti won that game 1–0.
A Memorable Moment
In June 2021, during a World Cup qualifying game against Canada, something unusual happened. Josué, as the goalkeeper, received a pass from a teammate. He tried to clear the ball, but it accidentally rolled into his own net. This moment became very famous online. People called it one of the most surprising own goals they had ever seen.
