Ju Ping (Chinese: 鞠萍; pinyin: Jū Píng) was born on January 25, 1966. She is a very famous Chinese TV host, especially known for her shows for children. Many people call her "Sister Ju Ping" or "Aunt Ju Ping." She has won China's important Golden Mike Award twice, in 1993 and 1995. Ju Ping was the first host in China to focus on programs for young people.

About Ju Ping

Ju Ping was born in Beijing, China, in January 1966. Her family originally came from Rongcheng, which is in Shandong province. She also has an older brother.

When Ju Ping was young, her parents moved to Zhengyang County in Henan for work. Later, her family moved back to Beijing.

Ju Ping went to Beijing National Day School for her elementary education. She then studied at Beijing Children Normal Training School, graduating in 1984.

After finishing school, she joined China Central Television (CCTV). There, she became the host of a very popular show called Jigsaw Puzzle. She hosted this show for ten years, from June 1, 1985, to May 31, 1995.

In November 2002, Ju Ping was chosen to be the Vice-President of the China Association of Radio and Television. This shows her important role in the media world.
