Juan Manuel Bordeu (born January 28, 1934 – died November 24, 1990) was a racing driver from Balcarce, Argentina. He was a very promising driver. The famous racing legend Juan Manuel Fangio helped him early in his career.
Bordeu had a lot of success when he first started racing. However, a serious accident during a test drive stopped his chances in Formula One. He only entered one Formula One World Championship race. This was the 1961 French Grand Prix. He was supposed to drive a Lotus car for the UDT Laystall team. But another driver, Lucien Bianchi, drove the car instead.
Juan Manuel Bordeu continued racing until 1973. After he stopped racing, he worked for FISA. This organization helps manage motorsports around the world. He represented Argentina there.
