Juan Manuel Sánchez y Gutiérrez de Castro (born December 15, 1850, in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain – died June 23, 1906, in Madrid, Spain) was an important Spanish politician. He was a noble, which means he came from a family with a special high rank. He was also known as the Duke of Almodóvar del Río because he married Genoveva de Hoces, 8th Duchess of Almodóvar del Río in Córdoba on February 10, 1872. This marriage also made him a Grandee of Spain, which is a very high title for a Spanish noble.
