Juan Moscoso del Prado Hernández was born on July 5, 1966, in Pamplona, Spain. He is a Spanish economist and used to be a politician with the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party (PSOE). He served as a member of the Spanish Parliament from 2004 to 2016, representing the region of Navarre.

Early Life and Education

Juan Moscoso is the son of Javier Moscoso, who was also a government minister in Spain. Juan studied a lot to become an expert in economics. He earned a special degree called a doctorate in economics and business administration from the Autonomous University of Madrid. He also got a master's degree in European economic studies from the College of Europe, which is a famous school for studying European affairs.

Career in Politics and Beyond

Juan Moscoso was involved in politics for many years. In 2011, he ran to become the mayor of Pamplona in the 2011 Spanish local elections.

Besides his work in the Spanish Parliament, he was also part of the Spanish group that went to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) from 2009 to 2012. This assembly is like a big meeting where representatives from different European countries discuss important topics. While there, he worked on committees that focused on general affairs and economic issues.
