Judge is a small, quiet place in Olmsted County, which is in the state of Minnesota, United States. It's known as an "unincorporated community." This means it's a group of homes and businesses that isn't officially a city or town with its own local government. Instead, it's usually managed by the county it's in.
A Look Back: The History of Judge
Judge has a short but interesting history. This community got its name from Edward Judge, who was the first owner of the land where the community was built.
For a few years, Judge even had its own post office! This post office opened in 1897. It helped people send and receive letters and packages. However, it only stayed open for about five years, closing its doors in 1902.
