The Story of Juicy Juice
Juicy Juice first came out in 1977. It was created by a company called Libby's. At that time, Libby's was part of a much larger company called Nestlé.
How the Name Changed
For many years, the juice was known as "Libby's Juicy Juice." But in March 2006, the name was shortened to just "Juicy Juice." It was then sold under the main Nestlé brand.
New Owners for Juicy Juice
In 2014, Nestlé decided to sell the Juicy Juice brand. A company called Harvest Hill Beverage Company bought it. Harvest Hill Beverage Company is part of a group called Brynwood Partners. So, Harvest Hill Beverage Company is the current owner of Juicy Juice.
How Juicy Juice Was Made
Before Nestlé sold Juicy Juice, the drinks were made in factories owned by Ocean Spray. This happened because Nestlé and Ocean Spray had an agreement together, which started in 2002.
