Julián Eduardo Elfenbein Kaufmann was born in Santiago, Chile on July 24, 1972. He is a famous Chilean journalist, radio host, and television presenter. He is well-known for hosting many popular TV shows in Chile.

Julián Elfenbein's Career

Julián Elfenbein studied journalism at the Universidad Diego Portales. After finishing his studies, he began a long and successful career in television. He worked for Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN), where he hosted fun shows like Pase lo que Pase and Noche de Juegos.

In 2008, Julián joined Channel 13 as a co-presenter for the reality show Tocando las estrellas. After taking a break for health reasons, he returned to TV and signed with Chilevisión (CHV). There, he hosted many successful programs such as Primer Plano, Allá tú, Fiebre de baile (which means Dance Fever), and Talento Chileno (Chilean Talent).

In 2010, Julián returned to Televisión Nacional de Chile (TVN). He became the host of the first Chilean version of the international singing competition Factor X. He also hosted Un minuto para ganar, which was the local version of Minute to Win It. He has continued to be a very active and popular figure on Chilean television.

Personal Life

Julián Elfenbein comes from a Jewish family. In 1996, Julián went through a very sad time when he was involved in a car accident.

In 2010, Julián faced a serious health issue that required surgery. He received a lot of support from the public and made a full recovery, returning to his television work.

Julián was married to Daniela Kirberg. They have three children named Benjamin, Sarah, and Rafaela.

Awards and Recognition

Julián Elfenbein has received awards for his work in television. In 2010, he won the "best TV presenter" award at the Premios Fotech 2010.
