The Life of Julián Padrón
Julián Padrón was born on September 8, 1910, in a small town called San Antonio in Monagas, Venezuela. When he was a boy, he went to private schools in Cumaná. Later, he attended a secondary school named Andrés Bello in Caracas. In 1929, Julián Padrón earned a degree in Philosophy.
Padrón's Education and Degrees
In 1935, Padrón earned two more important degrees. He became a Lawyer, which means he could work with laws and help people in court. He also became a Doctor in Political Science. This means he had deep knowledge about how governments work.
Padrón earned his law degree at the Supreme Court. This is a special court where important judges work. It is located in the Federal District of Venezuela. He earned his political science degree at the Central University of Venezuela, a well-known place of learning. In 1944, he earned another degree from this university. He studied to become a Diplomat and a Consul. These are people who represent their country in other countries around the world.
Padrón's Work in Media
In 1929, Julián Padrón started writing for a magazine called Elite. In 1935, he worked with Arturo Uslar Pietri, Pedro Sotillo, and Bruno Plá to create a magazine called El Ingenioso Hidalgo. This magazine was published for a short time.
In 1936, Padrón helped create and write for the newspaper Unidad Nacional. From 1945 to 1947, he wrote for a big newspaper called El Universal. He also wrote for many other newspapers and magazines during his life.
