Julia Clukey's Luge Career
Julia Clukey competed in many important luge events. Her best finish in the Luge World Cup was 12th place. This happened during the 2007–08 season in the women's singles event.
World Championships and Olympic Games
At the FIL World Luge Championships, Julia achieved a great result. She finished fifth in the women's singles event. This impressive performance took place in Lake Placid, New York during the 2009 championships.
Julia also had the chance to compete in the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Even though she faced some injuries, she was chosen for the team. At the Olympics, she finished 17th in the luge competition.
Overcoming Challenges

The camp is called Julia Clukey's Camp for Girls. It is supported by the Kennebec Valley YMCA and the Maine Beer & Wine Distributors Association. The camp helps young girls learn and grow. Girls from all over Maine and even New York have attended this popular summer camp.
