Julie Berry is an American author who writes amazing books for kids and young adults. She was born on September 3, 1974. Julie Berry has won many national awards for her stories.
About Julie Berry
Julie Gardner Berry grew up on a farm in Medina, New York. She was the youngest of seven children. She went to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) and earned a degree in communications in 1995. Later, she got another degree from Vermont College of Fine Arts in 2008.
Julie met her husband, Phil Berry, at RPI. They got married in 1995 and have four sons. For many years, her family lived in Maynard, Massachusetts. They later moved to Temple City, California.
Before becoming a full-time author, Julie worked as a marketing director. She helped with her family's business, which made software. She also wrote articles for the MetroWest Daily News newspaper.
In 2021, Julie and her family moved back to Medina, New York. She bought a local bookstore called The Book Shoppe. She fixed it up and changed its name to The Author's Note.
Award-Winning Books
