Julieta Granada (born on November 17, 1986) is a professional golfer from Paraguay. She plays on the LPGA Tour in the U.S. and the Ladies European Tour.

Early Life and Amateur Golf
Julieta was born in Asunción, Paraguay. When she was 14, in 2001, she moved to the United States. She received a special scholarship to attend the David Leadbetter Golf Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
While studying there, Julieta won many junior golf titles. From 2001 to 2004, she was part of the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) All-America Team. In 2004, she was named the AJGA Player of the Year. That same year, she won the U.S. Girls' Junior Championship. She also won the South American Championship for both individual and team play.
Julieta finished school in 2005 at the Pendleton School. This school was created for students attending the Leadbetter Academy and other sports academies.
Becoming a Professional Golfer
Julieta became a professional golfer in June 2005 when she was 18. She started playing on the Futures Tour that summer. She quickly showed her talent, finishing second in two of her first few events. She won her first professional title at the YWCA Futures Classic in August 2005. Her success on the Futures Tour helped her join the LPGA Tour for the 2006 season.
In her first year on the LPGA Tour in 2006, Julieta had an amazing season. She won the LPGA Playoffs at The ADT in November. This victory was very special because she won the first-ever $1 million prize in women's golf! This huge win helped her finish fourth on the LPGA money list that year.
After 2008, Julieta also started playing on the Ladies European Tour (LET). She has continued to play on both the LPGA and LET tours.
Major Achievements and Medals
Julieta has won several medals representing Paraguay in international competitions:
- In 2014, she won the gold medal at the 2014 South American Games.
- In 2015, she earned a bronze medal at the Pan American Games.
- She was the flagbearer for Paraguay at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
- At the 2019 Pan American Games, she won two silver medals. One was for the individual women's competition, and the other was for the mixed team competition.
Professional Wins
Julieta has won three professional titles:
- In 2005, she won the YWCA Futures Classic on the Futures Tour.
- In 2006, she won the LPGA Playoffs at The ADT on the LPGA Tour.
- In 2007, she won the Women's World Cup of Golf with her teammate Celeste Troche, representing Paraguay.
She has also had strong finishes in major LPGA tournaments. For example, she finished tied for 7th at the 2011 Kraft Nabisco Championship, tied for 10th at the 2007 U.S. Women's Open, and tied for 5th at the 2014 Women's British Open. Her best finish at the Women's PGA Championship was tied for 6th in 2014.
