Jun Ideguchi (born May 14, 1979) is a former professional Japanese football player. He played as a defender during his career.

Playing Career: Jun Ideguchi's Journey

Jun Ideguchi was born in Toshima, Tokyo, Japan. He started his football journey early. After finishing high school, he joined the Yokohama Marinos club in 1998. This club later became known as Yokohama F. Marinos.

Early Club Years: Yokohama F. Marinos

Ideguchi played for Yokohama F. Marinos until 2002. During this time, he was a defender. However, he did not play in many matches. This was because the team had other strong defenders. These included famous players like Masami Ihara, Norio Omura, and Naoki Matsuda.

Loan Spells and New Teams

To get more playing time, Jun Ideguchi went on loan to other clubs. In 1999, he played for Consadole Sapporo. Later, in 2001, he joined Shonan Bellmare. He played in 29 matches for Shonan Bellmare and scored one goal. In 2002, he moved to Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

Finding His Place: Sagan Tosu

In 2003, Ideguchi found a new home at Sagan Tosu. This was a great move for him. He played in many matches for Sagan Tosu over three seasons. He was an important part of their team.

Final Season: Tokushima Vortis

Jun Ideguchi moved to Tokushima Vortis in 2006. He played 27 matches for them and scored one goal. At the end of the 2006 season, he decided to retire from professional football. Throughout his career, he played a total of 125 league matches and scored 4 goals.

International Youth Football

In August 1995, Jun Ideguchi was chosen to be part of the Japan U-17 national team. This team was going to play in the 1995 FIFA U-17 World Championship. Even though he was selected, he did not get to play in any of the matches during the tournament.
