Jun Mizuno (水野 淳, born August 7, 1974) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a Midfielder during his career. He was born in Chiba Prefecture, Japan.
Playing Career Highlights
Jun Mizuno started his football journey in Chiba Prefecture. He was born there on August 7, 1974. After finishing high school, he joined his local team, JEF United Ichihara, in 1993.
He played a few games in 1994 and 1995. However, he didn't get to play many matches for the team.
In 1997, Jun Mizuno moved to another club called Mito HollyHock. This team was part of the Japan Football League at the time. He joined with his teammate Teppei Isaka.
Jun Mizuno became a regular player for Mito HollyHock starting in 1998. In 1999, his team did very well. They finished in 3rd place in the league. This success meant they were promoted to the J2 League, which is a higher division.
