June Gable is an American actress born on June 5, 1945. She is known for playing interesting and unique characters. Many people know her best as Estelle Leonard, the funny agent for Joey Tribbiani, on the popular TV show Friends. She also played a nurse in an early episode of Friends. June Gable was even nominated for a special award called a Tony Award for her work on Broadway.

Gable has performed in four different shows on Broadway. Broadway is where some of the biggest and best plays and musicals are performed in New York City.
One of her most famous roles was in the 1974 show Candide. For her part as the Old Lady in Candide, she was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical. This is a very important award in theater! She also appeared in a show called Moose Murders in 1983. It was a very short-lived show, meaning it opened and closed on the same night.
June Gable on Television
June Gable has appeared in many TV shows. She played Detective Battista on the show Barney Miller. She was also part of the cast for a short time on the 1977 version of Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In.
In 1979, she played a character named "Rhoda Rooter" in some special TV shows called Legends of the Superheroes. From 1978 to 1981, she was a regular on the variety show Sha Na Na. In the 1980s, she appeared as a guest star on popular shows like Miami Vice and Kate & Allie. She also had small parts in the movies Brenda Starr and She-Devil, both from 1989.
From 1990 to 1996, she had a repeating role as Libby Friedman in the HBO comedy series Dream On.

From 1994 to 2004, June Gable played Estelle Leonard on the NBC sitcom Friends. Estelle was the quirky and often forgetful agent for Matt LeBlanc's character, Joey Tribbiani.
