Jurassic Park III facts for kids
Jurassic Park III is an American movie from 2001. It's the third film in the exciting Jurassic Park series. This movie continues the story after The Lost World: Jurassic Park.
The adventure begins when Paul Kirby, who pretends to be a rich businessman, asks Dr. Alan Grant and his helper, Billy Brennan, to join him and his wife on a trip. They want to visit Isla Sorna, an island full of dinosaurs, for a "vacation." But Paul and his wife actually have a secret mission. They are looking for their son, who got stuck on the island during a parasailing accident.
After their plane crashes on the dangerous island, a huge Spinosaurus attacks them. This powerful dinosaur causes a lot of trouble for the group. The survivors then try to reach the coast, facing many different dinosaurs along their journey, including the scary Spinosaurus again!
Jurassic Park III is followed by another thrilling movie, Jurassic World.
Release Information
Jurassic Park III first came out in the USA and several other countries like Mexico and Argentina on July 18, 2001. Over the next few months, the movie was released in many other parts of the world, including the UK on July 20, 2001, and Japan on August 11, 2001. It continued to open in different countries throughout the rest of 2001 and early 2002.
