Jurques is a small former village, also known as a commune, located in northwestern France. It was once part of the Calvados area, which is a department (like a county or province). This department is found within the Normandy region of France.
On January 1, 2017, Jurques joined with another nearby village to form a new, larger commune called Dialan sur Chaîne. This means Jurques no longer exists as a separate commune on its own.
