James Bostick (born June 30, 1978), known by his stage name Jus Allah, is an American rapper from Camden, New Jersey. He is famous for being a member of the hip hop groups Jedi Mind Tricks (JMT) and Army of the Pharaohs (AOTP).
Jus Allah was involved with JMT from their early days. He later officially joined the group and appeared on their second album, Violent by Design, in 2000.
He is known for his strong lyrics and themes that connect to African-American culture. He often used a complex rhyming style in his early work, like on Violent by Design and his first solo album, All Fates Have Changed. Later, his rapping style became more powerful and deep. Jus Allah's time with Jedi Mind Tricks had its ups and downs, leading him to leave and rejoin the group several times.

Music Journey
Early Days with Jedi Mind Tricks (1993–2000)
Jus Allah started working with Jedi Mind Tricks as early as 1994. He was known as Soulcraft back then. Because of his early involvement, many see him as a co-founder of the group. One of his first recorded songs with JMT was "Skinny Paz vs Vinnie Paz."
In the mid-1990s, Jus Allah took a break from music to go to college. This is why he was not on JMT's first album.
The year 2000 saw the release of the popular Jedi Mind Tricks album Violent by Design. Many fans believe this album shows some of Jus Allah's best work. He rapped on almost every song with the group's main rapper, Vinnie Paz. During this time, the three main members of JMT had different stage names: Vinnie Paz was "Ikon the Hologram," Jus Allah was "Megatraum," and Stoupe was "The Enemy of Mankind."
Solo Career and First Album (2001–2006)
Soon after Violent by Design came out, Jus Allah left Jedi Mind Tricks. He then began his solo music career. In 2005, he joined Babygrande Records, the same label as JMT. On this label, he recorded his first solo album, All Fates Have Changed. This album even featured a famous rapper, GZA from the Wu-Tang Clan, on a song called "Pool of Blood."
However, Jus Allah was not happy with how the album was handled. He left the label before the album was fully finished. He later said that he never approved the album's release and was not pleased with the music production.
In 2006, an album called Necronomicon was released. It featured Jus Allah and another rapper named Bomshot as a duo called The Devil'z Rejects. Jus Allah stated that he had nothing to do with this album and was not paid for it.
Rejoining Jedi Mind Tricks (2006–2013)
In 2006, Jus Allah got back together with Jedi Mind Tricks. They released their first song together in five years, called "The Rebuilding." In 2007, Jus Allah officially announced that he had rejoined Jedi Mind Tricks. He also said he was "cool with Vinnie [Paz] again."
After rejoining JMT, Jus Allah also became part of the group Army of the Pharaohs in 2007. He appeared on their album, Ritual of Battle. In 2008, Jedi Mind Tricks, with its original three members (Stoupe, Vinnie Paz, and Jus Allah), released their sixth album A History of Violence. Army of the Pharaohs then released their third album, The Unholy Terror, which also featured Jus Allah.
Later, Vinnie Paz and Jus Allah decided to release the 2011 JMT album Violence Begets Violence without Stoupe. They felt Stoupe was focusing too much on other projects. This was the last project that featured Jus Allah with their label, Enemy Soil.
New Beginnings (2013–Present)
In 2013, Jus Allah left Jedi Mind Tricks and the Army of the Pharaohs again. The exact reasons for his departure were not made public.
His album M.M.A. (Meanest Man Alive) was first announced for release in November 2013. However, it was delayed. After leaving Jedi Mind Tricks and Army of the Pharaohs, Jus Allah was no longer signed to a record label.
On August 14, 2015, the album cover and song list for M.M.A. (Meanest Man Alive) were shared online. The album was officially released on September 4, 2015.
In 2019, Jus Allah released a diss track (a song meant to insult another artist) aimed at rapper Diabolic. Diabolic then responded with his own diss track.
On October 31, 2022, Jus Allah released a six-song album called Forces at Play. This album received good reviews, with one magazine saying that Jus Allah showed "supreme lyricism over hard hitting audio aesthetics." In 2023, he released another album called Fire & Blood.
Musical Inspirations
Jus Allah has mentioned that EPMD and A Tribe Called Quest are some of his favorite music groups. He said they inspired him to get into hip-hop. He also shared that the strong delivery style of the Wu-Tang Clan influenced his own rapping.
